On February 15, DCFD is sponsoring a team — possibly two — to lobby Congress in support of legislation providing full House voting rights to our long-denied Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton. Together with Jim Dean, chair of Democracy for America, we have written a letter to Speaker Pelosi urging her to expedite passage. For anyone who is committed to expanded voting rights and congressional representation for the District of Columbia, this is your opportunity to take direct action!
